Ducati Streetfighter 848 revealed

2012 Ducati Streetfighter 848

2012 Ducati Streetfighter 848

Here's what Ducati has to say about the bike so far:
Combining a new and brilliantly engineered 848 Testastretta 11° engine with the enhanced geometry of a chassis that provides confidence-inspiring agility, the Streetfighter 848 has enriched its user-friendliness with a smooth and flexible power delivery, revised ergonomics and Ducati Traction Control.
The Ducati Streetfighter scored a round one knock-out when it entered the ring for the first time at the Milan show back in November 2008, winning the ‘Most Beautiful Bike’ award and raising the bar for extreme nakeds. Its asphalt-ripping reputation became the desire of sport naked connoisseurs throughout the world and the Streetfighter 848 will now widen that appeal even further with enhanced usability.
Available from November 2011 onwards, the new fighter is dressed in red for Ducati traditionalists, while yellow makes a return for mid-range purists and “dark stealth” provides a matte-black reminder of the Streetfighter’s aggressive image.

Ducati Diavel AMG Special Edition

Exclusive Diavel from the Mercedes tuning house...

THIS Ducati Diavel is the first motorcycle born from the collaboration with Mercedes AMG and the Italian manufacturer.
The AMG Special Edition is based on the Diavel Carbon, but extra features made by luxury-sport brand include AMG's signature five-spoke wheel styling, carbon fibre lateral radiator grills with aluminium trim, AMG-style sport exhaust system with engraved end-caps and an AMG-style horizontally ribbed seat.
The exclusive Diavel adds AMG’s trademark white colour to the frame. The special edition wheels, seat and exhaust end-caps are all AMG branded and the logo is also laser-engraved into the air-duct panels either side of the fuel tank.
The AMG Diavel will be unveiled at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt.

YAMAHA R15 150CC

YAMAHA'S revamped R15 has finally been officially launched after nearly a year of spy shots and leaked design pictures.
Aimed purely at the massive Indian market, the R15 replaces an existing model of the same name which effectively kick-started a passion for sports bikes in India. Despite having just 17bhp and 150cc, it's considered a superbike in its home market, and has a price to match – at around £1500 it's a seriously expensive bike in India, even if it seems incredibly cheap compared to the £4249 YZF-R125 we get over here.
Whether you see it as expensive or cheap, it's not bad looking for a small sportster; you have to think that such a bike might do quite well over here – provided Yamaha could keep it at that price...
